Memorial Day Weekend

This morning, we woke up at 3am to drive Fok to the airport in Spokane. He is going on a "business" trip to attend a party put on by one of his styleforum affiliates, the denimbar. The sun was up before 5am, and we enjoyed the view of the green rolling hills as we drove through the Palouse. As long as you don't think about the Windows XP startup screen, it is gorgeous.

K and I are planning to enjoy the grill while Fok is gone. We biked down to the co-op today and bought some nice steaks to share with a couple of friends from the UI math department. C is getting more teeth, but steaks are still a little beyond her. I also promised K that we would see the Crystal Skull this weekend. It's hard for me to picture a 60 year old Indiana Jones, but I'm still looking forward to it.

Here are a few pictures from one of the last soccer games of the season, and more flowers from our yard. I don't think that they will last much longer.

wonderful pics... Kaleb looks like he was really into the game!

Hope you guys enjoy your steaks. We're going to grill some too, and the Smiths may join us.
