Chad her first solid food today! She actually did pretty well with it. I think that mixing it with her "usual" order helped.
We all had fun watching her explore the new textures. She wasn't put off by the spoon at all!
We've been keeping pretty busy for the last month. We very much enjoyed having my family in town for Thanksgiving (You can find some pictures on Dad's blog and on Amber's blog and eventually on our Flickr page.) We've also been doing a bit of traveling, with Fok and I having concurrent conferences. I was feeling sorry for myself - traveling with a baby out of a small airport with no non-stop flights...and then I read about Jaime's travel adventures and repented.
K had his first big concert at the Kibbie dome with the University of Idaho Jazz Choir and a number of local high school groups. His was one of two elementary groups who were asked to join. As you can see, it was a big production!
K's group did a piece called Winter Light in addition to the medleys. He is behind the music stand.
C turned 4 months old last week! So we took a picture of that too.All in all it has been a good month, and we are all looking forward to a little break at the holidays. I can't resist throwing in a couple more smiles from both of my kids!

What wonderful pics!! Thanks!
Thanks for the shout-out! One of my friends from Samoa is in the states for the holidays having her third (very active) boy. She will have the joy of traveling back to Samoa in January with all three by herself (5,2,and the newborn). See, there is always someone who has it worse!
