We celebrated Fok's 33rd birthday this week. We don't really feel that old, and both of us still get carded when we buy beer. However, the candles on the cake are beginning to look quite impressive!
We have enjoyed walking around town the last couple of days, checking out the shops and having a picnic lunch at East City Park. Kaleb has settled in at the local bookstore and was offered the prospect of future employment.
We are also now the proud owners of a Weber grill. We brought it home from the store on Labor Day and haven't cooked on the stove since (except for those braised greens that I made everyone eat two days ago.)
Even Claire gave me a skeptical look about those!
